Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport is located in the western suburbs of Shanghai, only 13 kilometers away from the city center, with a construction area of 510,000 square meters. It was completed in 1907. On November 30, 2014, Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport started the three-year T1 terminal renovation project, which complements the modern T2 terminal building and better improves the hardware facilities and service quality of the Shanghai aviation hub. The renovation project started from the perspective of meeting the needs of passengers for convenient and comfortable travel, with the premise of improving the functions of various service facilities and improving the service quality of the terminal building. During the renovation process, the key parts of the project adopted LINKBASIC products.
After the renovation, the external space environment and architectural form of the entire Hongqiao T1 terminal area are integrated, the waiting space is bright and comfortable, and the overall appearance is completely new; passenger service facilities are more abundant, and the flow of passengers in and out of the port is more convenient.
